The next phase will be making the moulds and casting using our finest resin, which is a very challenging part in the production process followed by starting to apply the paintwork.

Getting the creases in her pants, mainly around the crotch area is especially important in creating a realistic effect for the pose of the statue. Also the creases and folds in the back of the jacket have had to be improvised as we have no images of this pose from behind, being able to imagine the weight and rigidity of the clothing is essential in these situations.

After this the finer details are to be applied along with the accessories and face that will create a whole new challenge of its own.

Dark Skies come straight from the wonderful and macabre imagination of Marcus Ranum and will measure about 24cm tall. What really makes this project a unique challenge is that we are working from photographic models rather than the usual illustrations.

Unlike with Saiko we will not be drawing this production over multiple years and have her planned for release in the third quarter of 2012.

As I’m sure you can see she still has a lot of work to be done and we will keep you posted with more images as she progresses.

Saiko is due to be release very soon now and we would like to thank everyone for their patience, we know we have kept you waiting for a long time with this one. Saiko statue will be available to order late March at Eye on Asia while the kit version will be available in April. We have successfully managed to maintain the high quality that we wanted in the completed figure by using the finest resins that are available and some fantastic paint application. It took a very long time to perfect the metallic red armour which is possibly the most eye-catching part of this statue.

We are very eager to get this statue out to retail and we only have to finalize some of the packing and we will have the limited first edition available before the end of the year. We have failed to keep our fans as up to date as we should have but this will be changing soon with improvements to our site and some exciting new announcements coming soon about our future projects.

We have spent a very long time developing  Saiko as our first project and it feels like a great achievement to have reached this stage. We all feel very proud of what we have achieved  so far, but of course it is not over yet. The next phase is to get Saiko painted up and out to retail. We are planning to release two different color version, the first of which will be a limited 1st edition followed soon after by the regular release. The limited 1st edition will be available exclusively at Eye on Asia.

At this time we are currently working on a number of projects based upon Anime and Manga style characters. and are also working on using other themes in the near future.
